Background:
Avon Valley College (AVC) like all Schools and Colleges were looking
for high quality equipment, professional services and all on a competitive
budget. We presented a strong proposition to AVC and they put us on their short list,
subsequently we beat the competition and the incumbent on the mix of
quality and price. Since that first implementation of 55 PCs and Windows server
infrastructure, we have implemented three more times; again beating the
competition in the competitive tendering process. In all we have installed over 150 PCs and four servers. They are now saving money by running their own e-mail system, and have a fault resilient system spread over several buildings, it has many benefits over their previous system. An important part
of AVC's selection criteria is now due consideration of post sales support which is
